Housekeepers / Cleaners

Housekeeper/ Cleaners

Westonbirt Schools are seeking Housekeepers to join our friendly and busy housekeeping team, to perform a variety of tasks associated with the maintenance of a safe, clean and hygienic environment.  Key duties may include cleaning toilets, showers, bathrooms, the vacuuming, dusting, sweeping and mopping of floors, corridors and rooms. The completion of laundry and other domestic duties and ensuring that cleaning materials are safely stored.

The position will require working on part-time basis 15 hours per week, over a three week shift pattern including evenings 6pm to 9pm and weekends 7am to 10am, one weekend in three. Term Time Only, 34 weeks plus 2 weeks for deep cleaning.

Salary: £9.05 per hour

Mini Bus Driver

Due to increasing pupil numbers, we have opportunities for minibus drivers to join our friendly team, providing a safe, professional and courteous transport service.

Candidates will need to be confident in interacting with children and be able to maintain a good atmosphere on the bus.  Drivers will need to have a warm and flexible approach, be able to show initiative and work well on their own and as part of a team.

Drivers are required to hold a current unrestricted D1 entitlement, driver CPC card and tacho card.

This is a part-time role, with a range of different hours available including mornings, afternoons and evenings, or a combination.

Salary is up to £11.35 per hour for fully-qualified drivers.

We are looking to recruit enthusiastic, energetic and suitably qualified Recreational Assistants at Westonbirt School to perform a variety of tasks associated with the operation of Westonbirt Leisure Centre including Lifeguarding.

We are seeking candidates who already hold a RLSS Lifeguarding Qualification or with the ability to obtain within three months.

Residential Graduate Assistant with Art and Product Design Support

Residential Graduate Assistant with Art and Product Design Support  

Required for January 2021

This exciting opportunity provides valuable support to our students and provides the candidate with experience in a residential boarding school and within the Art and Product Design Department by providing support in both departments.

This is an ideal opportunity for graduates considering a career in education in the UK or internationally and could lead to Teacher Training within the school.

We are looking for candidates with an interest in Art and Product Design and who are educated to degree level.

The position is available from the 3 January 2021 until the end of the school year, 3 July 2021, you will be here for two terms, working with lively and interesting students within a flourishing co-educational environment.

The School will provide full board accommodation in an on-site boarding house or school accommodation during your employment and you with receive a monthly salary.

As this is a roll within girls’ boarding house, this role is suitable for female applicants only. This is an occupational requirement in accordance with Schedule 9, Paragraph 1 of the Equality Act 2010

Prep School Registrar/ Admissions Assistant

Prep School Registrar/ Admissions Assistant

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Registrar/ Admissions Assistant at Westonbirt Schools.

The position of Prep School Registrar/ Admissions Assistant is a crucial role within the Admissions Team. Reporting to the Director of Admissions this role is key to the continued growth and development of the School. The Prep School Registrar/ Admissions Assistant will be involved with pupil recruitment, the admissions process, and relationships with local nursery’s.

Full time, Term Time 39 weeks to include additional support in the school holidays, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm, although this can be flexible.

Duty Manager

Duty Manager

An exciting vacancy has arisen for a full time Duty Manager within our Leisure Centre at Westonbirt Schools.

The Duty Manager position will ensure the efficient operation of the department within Westonbirt Leisure brand including but not limited to the Sports Centre in compliance with local and national legislation.

We are looking for candidates with t least 2 years leisure industry experience (may be part time) who are confident communicator at all levels, can show evidence of success as an individual and as part of a team has a Flexible approach to working hours and holds a current RLSS lifeguard qualification.

Grounds Person

Grounds Person

A vacancy has become available for a Grounds Person to join our busy Estates Team and will be responsible for keeping Westonbirt School grounds including the sports pitches and gardens in the best possible condition at all times of the year – whatever the weather.

Full time, 39 hours per week, 5 days out of 7 to include weekend working, flexibility will be required.

Salary dependent on qualifications and experience.
